The short version

Who we are

CyberInsureReady (cyberinsureready.com.au) is an Australian cyber insurance readiness tool designed to help small businesses understand what insurers look for — and fix the gaps before they apply.

Free tier — what we collect

Nothing identifiable. Your assessment runs entirely in your browser using localStorage. Your answers, scores, and results never leave your device. We cannot see them.

We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (page views, general traffic) with no personal identifiers.

Paid tier — what we collect

When you purchase the Readiness Report, we collect:

• Email address — to send your payment confirmation
• Business name and contact email — to personalise your Readiness Report
• Assessment answers — sent to our server only to generate your report, with your explicit consent
• Payment information — processed by Stripe (we never see your card details)

How we use your data

• Generating your Cyber Insurance Readiness Report
• Sending payment confirmation emails
• Improving the assessment questions and scoring
• Nothing else

AI report generation

Your assessment answers are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate your report. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training. Your data is not retained by Anthropic beyond the request.

Data retention

• Generated reports are retained for 90 days after creation, then deleted
• Payment records are retained as required for tax purposes
• You can request deletion of all your data at any time

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
